# Full-Service vs Assisted Install vs DIY

## Choosing the Right Package

Okeanos can support different levels of project involvement. Full-service installation is best when you want Okeanos to coordinate the major pool installation stages. Assisted install is useful when a homeowner, builder, or landscaper can carry part of the site work but still needs Okeanos guidance for fiberglass-specific requirements.

DIY or shell-based packages require stronger coordination from the owner or contractor. The key risk is not the shell itself; it is whether excavation, foundation, backfill, plumbing, electrical preparation, drainage, and startup are handled correctly.

## Package Fit

- Full-service: best for clients who want the simplest path and a single installation lead.
- Assisted install: best for capable builders or landscapers who want Okeanos-specific direction.
- Shell/equipment: best when the project team can manage site work but wants compatible equipment supplied.
- Shell only: best for experienced installers who understand fiberglass pool foundation and backfill requirements.
